Just recently, my oldest child, Michael, received the honor of leading his squadron at the Air Force base he works at. In other words, he is now their Commander. So, there was a “Change of Command” ceremony that friends and family could attend. It was my first Change of Command ceremony. Once again, I am proud of my children. Most Moms are. Even though I wasn’t the official photographer at the ceremony (my daughter-in-law wanted me to be able to enjoy the event), I had to take some pictures. Some are taken where I was seated since I couldn’t move around during the ceremony and some are taken after the ceremony when I could move around.
